Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa Maldives is an exclusive all-suite resort for those who demand genuine luxury and expect only the best. Space and privacy is a hallmark here as we have some of the largest beachfront villas in the Maldives. Opened in 2005, and widely updated in a US$50m renovation in 2014, we have 103 extremely spacious villas, all (except Sunset Beach Villas) with their own private pool and Jacuzzi.
Famous for our outstanding ‘double coral reef’ that brings a vibrant underwater world to just a few meters from our shores, we’re only a 75-minute seaplane flight from the capital city, Malé, and are also easily reached by more exclusive transport: our marina offers a berth for yacht owners while those arriving by private jet can land at Hanimaadhoo International Airport (HAQ), which is an easy 25-minute speedboat journey from Hideaway.
Four restaurants and bars offer a world of fine dining, including an excellent wine collection. The spa is a true wellness haven with 12 private treatment suites, steam room and hair salon set in manicured gardens. For those who love to be active, two outdoor pools, the recreation centre with its gym, two tennis courts, beach volleyball court, as well as extensive watersports, fishing, diving and a range of excursions ensures there’s always something new to explore.
Luxury travelers can expect more activities to come soon. We are opening the first ever beach club in the Maldives called The Blue Heron which offers guests a beautiful pool on a beachside location, excellent seafood at the raw bar and a name DJ from France playing music every evening. A tennis academy by Nikolay Davydenko will open in November 2015 where the Russian professional tennis player, who achieved a singles world ranking of 3, and his team offer coaching clinics for all levels, from absolute beginner to professionals. Also opening in November 2015 is an over-water aqua park of floats, slides, water trampolines which will be complimentary to all guests.
Many of our villas are currently being renovated and we will proudly launch the brand-new Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa With Pool at the end of 2015. Other villas that have been changed include our one- and two- bedroomed Family Villas and all of our Beach Residences.
